Lip Blushing After Care
Days 1-3: Post-Procedure Care
At Microblading Columbus, we believe that the success of your cosmetic treatment extends beyond the procedure room. Aftercare plays a pivotal role in ensuring the best possible results and the longevity of your enhancement.
- Expect your lips to feel dry, slightly tender, and appear vividly colored. Some swelling is normal.
- For the first 4 hours, gently dab your lips with a clean paper towel to remove any lymph. After this, begin applying ointment regularly to keep your lips moist.
- Avoid kissing, rubbing, or any friction on the treated area.
- Continuously apply ointment to keep your lips hydrated. Steer clear of oily, spicy, or heavily seasoned foods, and use a straw when drinking.
- After meals, gently rinse your lips with water, pat dry, and reapply the ointment.
Days 4-7: The Peeling Process
During the peeling phase after lip blushing treatment at Microblading Columbus, it’s normal for your lips to start shedding their outer layer. This natural process is a crucial part of the healing journey. You’ll also notice a lightening of the lip color, typically around 30%-50%, which is a normal part of the treatment’s progression.
Key points during this period:
- Let the peeling happen naturally; avoid picking or rubbing your lips.
- Regularly apply ointment to keep the lips moisturized and aid in the healing process.
Week 2: Post-Peeling Phase
After the peeling phase of your lip blushing treatment at Microblading Columbus concludes, you’ll notice that the color of your lips appears lighter than initially post-procedure. This change is a natural and expected part of the healing process. At this stage, you can comfortably return to your normal daily routines. During this time, the color will gradually deepen and become richer.
Key considerations for this period include:
- Be patient and gentle with your lips as they continue to heal and the color matures, as every peron’s healing time may vary slightly.
- Regular moisturization is crucial for the continued healing and color development of your lips.
Additonal Tips
